Race Distances: Swim 750m (1lap), Bike 20Km. (2 laps), Run 5km (2 laps)

Categories
Note: open only to athletes entered by their National Federations (NF) through WT.

There are nine sport classes in paratriathlon that compete in six medal events:

• PTWC1
• PTWC2
• PTS2
• PTS3
• PTS4
• PTS5
• PTVI1
• PTVI2
• PTVI3

Both PTWC 1 and PTWC 2 classes compete in the same PTWC Medal Event. All the ambulant classes (PTS2-PTS5)compete in their own medal event and the three visual impaired classes (PTVI1, PTVI2 and PTVI3) compete into the PTVI medal event.
