General information
This camp targets countries in West Asia and along with the development plan which has been set for 2021. It will seek potential talents for Team Asia and it will also work on introducing West Asian Athletes to the development process which is provided by World Triathlon. This camp will be targeting Youth, Juniors & U23 athletes from West Asia; and priority will be given to NFs which will send female athletes. Moreover, it is advised that NFs nominate athletes who didn’t go to the Development Camp which took place in Cholpon-Ata – Kyrgyzstan earlier this year. Athletes have to bring and be responsible for their training equipment (bike, helmet, swim gear, running gear, etc). Most used language will be English. Translation will be provided whenever needed. NF attending coaches will be kindly asked and encouraged to assist with sessions set by the Head Coach.

Application process and documents
Athletes who are under 18 years have to submit a parental consent form signed by the parents along with their application form. Applications have to be signed and stamped by NFs (applications which will not be stamped and signed are not going to be approved). Application deadline is Thursday, 03 December 2021 – 20:00 (Jordan Local Time). All applications to be mailed to: Firas.Al-Hmood@Asia.Triathlon.Org with 3 attachments: Parental Consent – Athlete Application Form – Coach Application Form.

Participation quota
We are happy to have 2 males and 2 females from each NF (priority will be given for female athletes). This camp is for U15 - 19 years olds.

Accommodation subsidy
Asia Triathlon will cover the accommodation on FB basis from 18 - 22 Dec 2021 for the athletes. Athletes will be staying at Wyndham Grand Manama. Asia triathlon will cover the accommodation on FB basis for 5 nominated coaches (priority will be given for coaches who didn’t take part in previous development camps & female coaches).
