Age Group

Aside from Sydney, all the Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championship Series events will contain an Age Group competition, giving amateur competitors the chance to race alongside their elite counterparts.

With qualifying places up for grabs for the ITU Triathlon Age Group Championships, the events will provide the top athletes the chance to make their mark and secure their spots for Budapest. As mass participation events the races are not limited to participants from the country hosting the event allowing international racing at both the elite and amateur levels.

Qualification

Qualification for the Age Group ITU Triathlon World Championships will remain as in previous years through designated national events.  Please contact your respective national federation for more details. 

However, extra places are available to the winner of each age category at any Dextro Energy Triathlon - ITU World Championship Series event.
