Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series
The Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series is a new, innovative series that allows the world’s top athletes to compete head-to-head on an ongoing basis.
Expanding upon the previous single-day World Championship, this new format features seven world-class events and an exciting Grand Final. Taking competitors from the streets of London to the historic buildings of Washington, DC to the shores of the Gold Coast and many places in between, this new series promises to bring the sport of triathlon to the world in a way it’s never been done before.
With the support of top-tier commercial partners like Dextro Energy and Suunto, the new series introduces exponential growth in athlete prize money, media coverage and sport exposure. With a year-end bonus pool of $500,000 and a $150,000 prize at each event, high stakes are on the line in the battle to become ITU’s 2010 World Champion.
